OT - Padan

The Story Behind OT

After the passing of Eli Padan’s father, he decided to deepen his knowledge of Torah and Mitzvot. Ever since, he has been going to the synagogue every day and studying Gemara and Mishnayot with the sons of Rabbi Jacob Edelstein, zecher tsadik livracha, Rabbi of the city of Ramat Hasharon for almost 70 years.

When Padan began putting on the Tefillin during morning prayers, he felt a discomfort in the palm of his hand, caused by the way the end of the Tefillin strap was bound and tucked. Noticing many other men fidgeting with the straps while they prayed, attempting repeatedly to pull them tighter, made him realize he was not the only one who found this practice annoying.

Diving deeper into the Hilchot Tefillin (in the Mishnah Berurah, Shulchan Aruch and Sefer Hachinuch) he confirmed there was nothing to prevent this problem from being solved.
With the approval and blessings of prominent rabbis and Poskei Halacha, he developed an ingenious product, which has been patented and branded OT, the Hebrew acronym for Ochez Tefillin (Tefillin Holder).

“Vehayu le OT al yadeka, uletotafot bein einecha…”

OT is a unique product designed to help lock the end of the Tefillin hand strap properly in a single quick motion. The strap binds snugly around the hand without having to be constantly adjusted and overstretched. The elegant simplicity of OT, made of luxurious 100% pure kosher leather, makes it an original gift for anyone who uses Tefillin, which will accompany them for many years to come.

Feedback on OT has been overwhelmingly positive from everyone who has purchased and used the product. Remember, this is a once-in-a-lifetime purchase that will not become damaged or wear off.
